Challenge:

Design protective packaging for multiple portable air compressors that reduce labor costs while minimizing damage during shipping.

 

Work Performed:

• Re-designed the protective packaging around three different air compressor units.

• Original packaging had high shipping damage levels

• Original packaging was labor intensive

• Identified and sourced films for the dosimeter pouches

• The re-designed packaging was simplified with fewer pieces resulting in labor savings that outweighed higher packaging costs
